Kenneth Ray Bailey 90, of Greenwood Missouri, gained his wings May 24th 2025 in Lees Summit Missouri. Kenneth Ray was born in Dallas Texas, December 15th 1934 to Lonnie Tolman Bailey and Lucy Luvada Blackmon Bailey. Kenneth was a graduate of Seagoville High School. He was employed by the United States Postal Service and following graduation he took a military leave of absence to serve four years in the United States Air Force as a B-52 aircraft mechanic. He retired from the Postal Service after 36 years.

Kenneth earned a real estate broker’s license and worked in that field for 25 years, both during and after his postal career. He loved talking on his CB radio and later on his Ham radio. Kenneth loved kids, dogs, all things built by Ford, and a cup of sugar with a little bit of coffee in it! Don’t forget the spoon.

Kenneth married Patricia Ellis Baileyin 1969 and they celebrated 54 years of marriage and adventures.

Kenneth leaves behind his daughter Debbie McAfee and her husband Steve, Son Keaven Dean Bailey, and Stepson Gene Donehoo, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends in Missouri and Texas.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, an older brother Olen Lewis Bailey, and an older sister Vivian Ruth Houston. He loved saying he was the baby of the family and the best looking out of the bunch.
