Kenneth Francis Baker, affectionately known as Kenny, age 80, of North Easton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Boston Medical South Hospital in Brockton. Born on January 12, 1945, in Boston, he was the beloved son of the late Samuel and Lillian (Leavitt) Baker. Kenny had made North Easton his home for the past fifty years, where he built a life centered around family, friendship, and community.

A proud graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1963, Kenny dedicated thirty-nine years of service to Bay State Gas and was a committed member of Utility Workers Union of America – A.F.L. – C.I.O. Local 273. He treasured the camaraderie of his colleagues, often referring to them as his "band of brothers."

Kenny's passions included fishing-especially at Lake Cobbosseecontee in Maine-golfing, family vacations, time spent on Cape Cod and in Scituate, trips to Foxwoods, and enjoying his scratch tickets. He was an avid music lover and cherished every moment with his family and friends.

Known for his warm smile, generous heart, keen sense of humor, and kind spirit, Kenny had a remarkable ability to light up any room. He was deeply loved by all who knew him and is now reunited with his dearest friend, Guido. Kenny's legacy of love and friendship will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Maria; his daughters, Maryanne and her husband Theodore Peter of Norton, and Jacqueline Baker and her partner Christopher Blais of North Easton; his beloved granddaughter, Taylor Kendra Martin of North Easton; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Nick and Diane Nikiforow of Kingston; his nieces, Michelle Cravehno and Nicole Ruprecht of Kingston; and his nephew, Gregory Nikiforow of Millbury.

Memorial visitation will be held Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00PM at the Southeast Funeral Home on 93 Center St., North Easton, MA 02356, followed by a memorial service in the funeral home at 4:30PM with eulogies to follow. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association.

A celebration of life will be held in Kenny's memory on Saturday January 24, 2026.
