Kenneth “Kenny” W. Benbow, born on January 30, 1960, peacefully passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 65. He was born in New Castle, IN, to the late Larry Benbow and Darlene (Williams) Alderson.

Kenny was a proud graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He completed his education in 1978 and ventured into a dedicated career, initially at Wayne Works Factory and later as a CMM operator as a member of the United Auto Workers (UAW).

Kenny was known for his loving nature and quick wit; his ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him was unmatched. He had a unique talent for making everyone feel cherished, frequently expressing his love with sincere words and quick-witted comments.

Among his many passions, Kenny had a deep love for golf, and he cherished the annual golf trips to Crossville that became a tradition for over 40 years. He was also a fan of Indiana University sports, especially basketball. Family and work were paramount in his life, and he often found joy in playing cards with loved ones, creating countless fond memories through these gatherings.

Kenny's affection extended beyond people; he had a special bond with animals, particularly with “little Gagey”. He was also known for watching the news, often becoming animated about current events.

Kenny will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 43 years, Judy Benbow; children, Brandy (Jeremy) Brown and Jesse Benbow (Ember Fields); siblings, Duane (Sue) Benbow and Dawn (Jeff) Owens; grandchildren, Camryn DeNeve and Addison Benbow; brother and sister in law, DeWayne (Sheila) Black; special nephew, Cole Owens; niece, Heather (Mark) Williams; aunt, Marian Wells; uncle, George Williams; great nieces and nephews; and cousins.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and stepparents, Larry (Wanda) Benbow and Darlene (Charles) Alderson; and uncle, David Williams.
