Kenneth J. Boland

Kenneth J. (K.B.) Boland of West Harrison New York passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 3rd at the age of 85 years old. Kenneth is remembered by his loving family-- his wife Marie Boland, his children, Timothy Boland, Raymond Boland, Michael Sorbara, Kathy Triolo, and Kenneth A. Boland, as well by his 15 grandchildren, Raymond Boland II, Evan Boland, Tyler Boland, Lauren Boland, Allison Sorbara, Matthew Sorbara, Dominick Triolo, Nicholas Triolo, Michael Triolo, Christopher Triolo, Connor Boland, Ryan Boland, Cara Boland, Tanner Boland, and Alyssa Boland. Kenneth, a former Health Education teacher for both Harrison and Port Chester High School, was also a beloved teacher and coach of many, for more than twenty years. The positive effect he had on the lives of others is immeasurable.
Coaching track and field, lacrosse, football, basketball, baseball, and just about any sport you can imagine-- Ken was an avid lover of sports and learning alike, so it is no surprise that his favorite pastimes were reading one of his many books, and enjoying the beauty of nature.
Kenneth was born on March 10th of 1936 in White Plains, New York to the late Mildred and Edward Boland. After graduating from Brockport College, Kenneth went into the Army and served his country for two years. Upon returning, Kenneth earned the incredible achievement of his Masters Degree from Columbia University and went on to become the incredible man and teacher that we remember today. He will be forever missed.
