Kenny L. Cantrell
Kenneth Layne Cantrell, 66, son of Myrtice Hayes Cox (Harold) of Liberty and the late Robert Walton Cantrell, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026.
Born in Jacksonville, FL, he was a 1978 graduate of Easley High School. Kenny enjoyed playing tennis and cheering for his Carolina Gamecocks. He was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church in Easley and attended Eastside Baptist Church in Liberty.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Verna’ Cantrell Grant (Kenny) of Easley; a special friend, Kelly Orander; a niece, Courtney Cantrell Waldrup (David), and nephews, Jacob Grant (Robyn) and Lucas Grant (Kayla).
Kenny was predeceased by his father, Robert Cantrell, and brother, Robert W. “Tony” Cantrell, Jr.
Per Kenny’s request, no services will be held.
