Kenneth "Ken" Allan Collier, age 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 25, 2025 at Magnolia Village.
Ken was born in Warren County on October 6, 1949 to the late Leroy and Mildred English Collier. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Michael Collier; and his sister, Janice Marie (Collier) Russell.
Ken served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1974 leaving with the rank of Sergeant. During that time, he served in Thailand for two years.
After his service, Ken moved to Florida and worked in law enforcement while obtaining his college degree. In the 80's, Ken relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area where he worked as an IT Tech for over 25 years. Upon retirement, Ken returned home to Bowling Green to be near his family.
Ken was baptized by Bro. B.G. Hope on April 17, 1960 at Twelfth Street Church of Christ in Bowling Green. Ken was an avid singer. Encouraged by his father and grandfather, he led his first hymn at the age of eight at the Gardner Church of Christ in Weakley County, Tennessee. Throughout his life he was an active song leader and current member at the Southside Church of Christ.
Ken was survived by his two children: James Campbell Collier and Sarah Elizabeth Collier Watson (Chad); Three Grandchildren: Seth, Kohl, and Dallas Watson; his sister, Donna Parker (Don); his sister in law, Pam Collier; his niece, Jennifer Buckingham (Matt); and five additional nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 2:00pm at the J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel on Broadway with burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin prior from 11:00am until the time of service.
