Mr. Kenneth B. Conklin, Sr., 64, of East Liberty Street, St. Johnsville, NY, passed away on September 26, 2025, at St. Peter's Hospital unexpectedly.

He was born on June 23, 1961, in Peekskill, NY, the son of the late David Conklin and Helen Totten.

Ken went to Bayside High School in Queens, NY, then went on to take courses in small electronics at Hudson Valley Community College, where he obtained his certification in electronics repair. After graduation and up until recently, he repaired many people's small electronics, including numerous VCRs that people still enjoy. He had a passion for martial arts and thoroughly enjoyed being a Kung Fu instructor for many years at the Fire Eagle Black Tiger Academy in St.Johnsville, NY.

For the past 29 years, Ken has worked as a groundskeeper at Canajoharie Falls Cemetery, a job that he took great pride in. Before that, he worked at Vassar College and Ken's Place, a furniture store in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was very fond of the time he spent there.

For the past 30 years, he has lived in the local area. Before that, he lived in Poughkeepsie, NY, and Bayside, NY.

Ken will be remembered most for being a man of integrity, his generosity, and good character. He always showed up for his children and never missed an opportunity to show them how much he loved them. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching Superman movies, listening to music, especially Elvis, of whom he was a die-hard fan, Black Sabbath, and Johnny Cash. Most of all, his biggest enjoyment was always being with his kids and grandkids.

He was predeceased by his mother, Helen Toten, and his sister, Linda Conklin.

Survivors include his children, Kenneth B. Conklin Jr., Melissa George and her husband Jim George, Jason Conklin and his wife Dorothy Sims Conklin, Jennifer Conklin and her husband Michael Vokins, Hermine Weiss and fiancé Isiah Readdean and Jeremey Conklin; grandchildren Arianna George, Jimmy George, Lucas Conklin, Hudson Conklin, and Michael Vokins Jr.. his former wives, and mothers of his children, Denise Conklin, Linda Conklin, and Sabine Conklin; siblings George (Allyson) Conklin, Elaine Schneider, Barbara Knapp, David Conklin, and Dennis Conklin; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside funeral will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Canajoharie Falls Cemetery, Rt 10, Canajoharie, NY 13317.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
