It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Dennings Sr., who passed away on October 28, 2024 in Richburg, South Carolina, United States. He was born on September 12, 1951 to Orley J Dennings Sr and Evelyn Yancer, and brother, Ollie Dennings, all of whom have predeceased him.
Kenneth leaves behind his partner, Evelyn King, four children - Kelly Dennings, Dyan Prichard, Evelyn Dennings, and Kenny Dennings, as well as six beloved grandchildren. Also including his brothers and sisters, Smokey (Mary Dennings) of NC, Cecil {Cecila} Dennings of CA, Bonnie McDonald of NC, Joyce Roy (Keith Greenleaf) of NC, sister-in -law, Betty Dennings of MI and Billy Mike of NE.
Kenneth attended Midland High School and went on to serve in the Marines as an E-4 before retiring in 1973. He worked in the military and was involved in various organizations such as the Moose Lodge, VFW, among others.
Throughout his life, Kenneth was recognized for his dedication and service, earning several awards for his contributions. In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool, a hobby he cherished.
Kenneth Dennings, Sr. will be remembered as a loving partner, father, grandfather, and friend. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
His memorial service will be on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Harmony Baptist Church 5403 State Rd 51, Edgemoor, SC 27912. In lieu of flowers, please remember the family. May he rest in peace.
