Kenneth L. "Kent" Dennis age 94 of Danville passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center in Conway.
Kent was born July 21, 1930 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Walter William & Addie Mae Kitchens Dennis. He was a member of the Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church he was retired from the Yell County Road Department.
He was preceded in death parents, brothers, Denver Dennis, and Hermon Dennis; sister, Ruby Gilkey.
. Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a daddy and I sure had a special one. He taught me about car motors, music, and life. If any child had a perfect childhood it was me. There was always lots of love, laughter, and numerous shenanigans. Thank you daddy for all of the beautiful life lessons and love. You are forever in my heart.I love you Deb
Survivors include his wife of 68 years Barbara Dennis; daughter & son-in-law, Deborah & Dennis Kroh; step granddaughters, Laura & Tyler Parker; & Xandra Kroh; great-granddaughters, Aurora Parker; several nephews, nieces and a host of friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Downum officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm before the service at the church. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Bill Gilkey, Jeff Gilkey, Jay York, Tim Walls, Glenn Laster and Matthew Boyce.
Honorary pallbearers include Louis Delisle, Johnny George, George Morris, Tuff Dixon, Reedy Rounsville, Harlon Patton Jerry Payne and J.D. Keys
