Mr. Kenneth W. Fanslau Sr.

Kenneth W. Fanslau Sr. age 83 years of Thorofare passed away on Saturday June 15, 2024 in Cooper Hospital, Camden with his family by his side. Mr. Fanslau was born in Woodbury and lived in Thorofare all of his life. He retired after 30 years of service as a chemical operator with Monsanto Corporation, Bridgeport. Mr. Fanslau was a 67 year member of Thorofare Volunteer Fire Company and served as their Chief for 25 years. He was a member of the West Deptford Firemen's Relief Association; Exempt member of the N.J. State Firemen's Association; Clonmell United Methodist Church, Gibbstown and Thorofare Antlers Deer Club. Mr. Fanslau enjoyed bowling, deer hunting, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his children, Kim and Larry Hajna of Oak Valley, Ken Jr. and April Fanslau of Thorofare, Wayne and Rachel Fanslau of West Deptford and his grandchildren, Matthew, Rachel, Shawn, Dylan, Taylor, Aleah, Jacqueline, Sophia, Michael, Austin, Jacob and Avery. Mr. Fanslau was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia Fanslau.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Friday June 21, 2024 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro.
