Kenneth F. Foreman

Kenneth F. Foreman, of Deerbrook, died on January 4, 2023 at his home. He was 85 years old. He was born on March 16, 1937 in Kempster, a son of Kenneth and Rita (Hurst) Foreman. He married Elsie Mikolajczak on October 10, 1956 in Rhinelander.
Ken lived in Elkhart Lake for many years where he was a machinist and supervisor for Gilson Brothers in Plymouth. While living in Elkhart Lake he was a member of the Lions Club, was a volunteer for the Elkhart Lake Fire Department and drove school bus.
In 1974 he moved to Deerbrook. He was employed at Waukesha Bearings and was co-owner of Glas-Tek. Ken served on the Upham town board and was caretaker of the Lakeside Cemeteries in both Kempster and Summit Lake. He was also caretaker for Langlade County 4-H Camp Susan.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved nature. He enjoyed ATV riding in the north woods.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie; two daughters, Georgia (Mike) Bogenschuetz of Merrill and Terri Foreman-Guth of Deerbrook; a son, Michael Foreman of Deerbrook; four grandchildren, Bambi Guth, Dayna (Chuck) Streeting, Michael Foreman Jr., and Taylor Bogenschuetz; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, David Guth; two sisters, Judy and Sandra; and a brother, Dirk Foreman.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
