Kenneth was born in Hawkins County and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nellie (Duncan) Hagood; sons, Kenneth Lee Hagood and Steven Lynn Hagood; parents, Mary and Walter Hagood; sisters, Mary Jean Jones and Thelma "Pon" Adams; brothers, Bill Hagood and Jim Hagood.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Marie Smith (Daniel); special granddaughters, Danna Marie Smith (best friend) and Lyndsey Hagood; grandsons, Hunter Hagood and Logan Hagood; special brother-in-law, Dale Duncan, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter of your choice.
