Kenneth "Kenny" Adren Hodgins, age 73, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away with family by his side on April 17, 2025. He entered this life on February 11, 1952, the son of Robert and Ida (Cole) Hodgins in Kansas City, Missouri. Kenny was joined in marriage to Shannen Lynn Pluff on April 9, 1993.
With a gregarious soul, Kenny was a people person and loved talking to anyone. He spent years as grandmaster of the Masonic Lodge in Versailles, Missouri, following in his family's footsteps. Kenny was able to make many friends throughout the country while he was a truck driver. He was owners of Ozark Pro Polish, Ozark Custom Truck and Lakeside Body shop in Lake of the Ozarks with his father. Kenny also opened K & S Trucking Partners with his wife.
Kenny enjoyed hot rods and fast cars. He loved camping, riding side by side, and spending time at his favorite place, Cloud 9. He was a wonderful husband, daddy, and pawpaw, and his family meant the world to him. The memories and moments created throughout his life will be cherished by those who knew him forever.
Kenny is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Shannen Hodgins of Hollister, Missouri; sons: Joseph Farr of Hollister, Missouri, and David Hodgins of Warrensburg, Missouri; and granddaughter, Lilly Ida Hodgins.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Hodgins.
There will be a celebration of life held on 11:00 a.m. Monday April 28, 2025, at The River Church, 10374 State Hwy 76, Forsyth, Missouri, with Pastor Paul Michel officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
