Kenneth Ison Sr.

Kenneth Gerald Ison, Sr., 80 of Webbville, KY went to be with his Lord and Savior at his son's home on Monday, November 3, 2025. Kenny was born on March 14, 1945, in Red Jacket, WV, a son of the late Isom and Beatrice Ison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Glendine Hicks, Fern Little, Helen Little, Ruby Mounts, Barbara Ponevacs; and his brothers, Fredrick Ison Jr, Lawrence Ison, Herbert Ison, Sherman (Pete) Ison, Bob Ison, and Ernie Ison.

Kenny enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and family.

Kenny is survived his wife of 55 years, Edna M. Boggs Ison; son, Kenneth G. Ison, Jr.; grandson, Kenneth G. Ison III all of Webbville, KY; a brother, James (Roberta) Ison of Grayson, KY; special nephews, Eddie (Eileen) Hicks and Donald Salyers; special great nephews, Micheal Sturgill and Austin Salyers; great-great nephew and niece, Silas Salyers and Nyla Sturgill; along with special friends Eugene (Brenda) Byrd of West Hamlin, WV and Joe (Sherry) May of Webbville, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 (Noon) on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Brother Don Young and Brother Eugene Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the Webbville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service hour.

Micheal Sturgill, Kenny Ison III, Randy Sturgill, Don Young, Joe May, Eddie Hicks and Willie McGlone will serve as pallbearers.
