Kenneth Nile Jones, 86, of Lebanon, PA passed away on Saturday December 7, 2024, at The Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Sandra (Light) Jones, with whom he celebrated 52 years in marriage.
Ken and Sandy were always active in their community, volunteering with various organizations. After retirement they also travelled to destinations, both in the United States and abroad.
Kenneth was born in Pigeon Forge, TN on August 4, 1938, to the late Glenn F. and Maude (Myers) Jones. He was a 1956 graduate of Fulton High School and 1960 graduate of University of Tennessee. He earned his degree in business administration. Kenneth served in the US Army from 1961-1967. His last post was at Dickinson College where he was the ROTC instructor. He worked successfully in the graphic arts industry in Harrisburg, PA.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Michael R. Jones (Dana), grandchildren, Michael R. Jones, Jr. (Heather), Stephanie Currie (Tyler), Damika Jones, great grandchildren, Nolan and Max Jones, nephews and niece: Matthew Light (Leslie), Mark Light, Paula Light, and great nieces and nephews, Andrew Light, Kaitlyn Beall (Beau), Joshua Light, and Matthew Light, Jr. (Hope). He was preceded in death by his parents, and his infant son, Stephen U. Jones.
Family was always important to Ken and Sandy.

Ken, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
