He had a remarkable career as a Boiler Maker with Steel Tank Construction & Wyatt Field Service. He built or worked in most of the refineries around the area and beyond. Besides his career he was an avid coon and squirrel hunter. He had many Coon dogs that will be happy to see him again. He and his wife Rosalie also enjoyed fishing before her passing. For many years he was a deacon at Long Point Baptist Church. He was a Master Mason with a dual membership from White River Lodge No.37 in Des Arc, Arkansas & S.R. Waltrip Lodge No. 1328 in Houston, Texas. He had three children that he and his late wife Rosalie raised in the Spring Branch/Spring Valley area of Houston. Donna Jones-Murphy (Mike), Kenneth (Bubba) Jones (Alex) & Terri Jones. He Had two granddaughters whom he loved very much, McKenzie Jones & Mallory Jones. He often bragged on how pretty they were. He was proceeded in death by his parents Tommy & Dorothy Jones (Clemons). His wife Rosalie Jones (Jacobs). His two brothers J.B. Jones and Chuck Jones. His sisters Louise Stallings, Helen Yielding & Janie Maronay. Kenneth was a great story teller and could say the best prayers. He was often asked to say the prayer at family functions. The family would like to express appreciation to a special new friend, Shelley Mosley, and her staff of nurses and care givers of Memorial Hermann Hospital in Katy, Texas who took wonderful care of him during his stay. Kenneth may be gone but he will be forever loved and in our hearts until we meet him in heaven.
