Kenneth Marshall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Campbell Funeral Chapel - Trenton on Dec. 15, 2025.
Kenneth Lee Marshall, Sr., 73, of Trenton, New Jersey, peacefully departed this life on December 9, 2025, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. Born on January 4, 1952, to Washington Nathaniel Marshall Sr. and to the late Virginia Elizabeth Sellers. Kenneth's life was marked by love, dedication, and unwavering service to both his family and his community.
Kenneth attended Junior 1 Middle School and Trenton Central High School, where he was a proud member of the graduating Class of 1971 and distinguished himself as a varsity basketball and baseball player. He later continued his education at the Vocational School of the County of Mercer, earning a Certificate of Completion in 1984 as a Maintenance Foreman.
Kenneth began his professional career with RC Coca-Cola Company and went on to dedicate more than 50 years of faithful service to the State of New Jersey, retiring in 2022. His strong work ethic, commitment, and steady presence left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
On December 2, 1972, Kenneth married his seventh-grade sweetheart, Juanita Marshall. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on love, partnership, and family. From this union came four beautiful children, each of whom was the pride and joy of Kenneth's life. He enjoyed baseball and football and was a devoted fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family. Affectionately known as the "neighborhood dad and grandpa" and the family "limousine driver," Kenneth offered guidance, warmth, and unwavering support to many beyond his own household.
Kenneth was predeceased by his grandparents; Howard Douglass, Della Douglass, Nathaniel Marshall, and Marie Miller; mother, Virginia E. Sellers; his brothers, Nathaniel Marshall, Gary W. Marshall, and Washington N. Marshall Jr.; and his sister, Della M. Slaughter.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 53 years, Juanita Marshall; his four children, Virginia L. Marshall of Trenton, NJ, Kenneth L. Marshall Jr. of Trenton, NJ, Juanita Y. Marshall of Trenton, NJ, and Issac M. (Fabienne) Marshall of Trenton, NJ; his father, Washington N. He is also survived by his aunts, Mable Slater of Ewing, NJ, Rosalie Pullen of Trenton, NJ, and Hazel Brittingham Rose of Trenton, NJ; uncles; Eddy Brittingham, George Brittingham, Ira Brittingham, Bill Brittingham, Johnny Brittingham; his beloved grandchildren, Ashley L.
