Kenneth Eugene "Kenny" Osborn

Kenneth "Kenny" Eugene Osborn, 79, passed away on March 1, 2026, in Wichita Falls.

Born in Weatherford, OK, to Loil and Jean Osborn, Kenny served in the Navy before graduating from Midwestern State University. He spent many years as a history teacher and football/baseball coach at Wichita Falls High School, influencing the lives of many students.

Kenny loved NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys and cooking with Dan, but his favorite thing in the world was being "Grampy" to his three grandkids.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Debbie, children, Angela Pearce(husband Jon) and Kyle Thayer(wife Christina),his grandkids: Ashton Thayer, Ava Thayer and Aze Thayer, sisters Jan and Dea, mother-in-law Barbara Herrington, brother-in-law Jack Phillips, many nephews and nieces and his beloved pets, Ruby and Sophie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Steve, fathers-in-law Fred Herrington and Jack Phillips.

A come and go Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7th, from 10:00-11:30 a.m., at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations can be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or P.E.T.S.
