Kenneth Dwight Ray, 66, of Hopewell, VA, passed from this world, April 2, 2024, at Tri-City Randolph Hospital, Hopewell, VA. Kenneth was a Bowling Green, KY native, born, June 26, 1957, a son of the late Catherine Vivian Ray. He was a 1975, graduate of Bowling Green High School and was employed by Rex Lumber Company as a long-haul truck driver. Those who knew Kenneth knew just how much he loved the Dallas Cowboys, a true diehard fan. He also had a love for cars (his red Cadillac), Nascar, truck and car shows, boxing and the smooth sound of jazz music. Kenneth was loved deeply by his family and friends, he had a warm, loving and giving heart that was shared by so many.
Along with Kenneth's mother he was preceded in death by parents, Freddie and Marie Gipson; sister ToSia Ray.
To cherish the loving memory of Kenneth Dwight Ray he leaves his son, Todd Ray; brothers and sisters; Joe Ray, Roger Ray, Steve (Retha) Bradshaw, Karen Ray, Alison Ray, Brenda (Mike) Williams, Detra Hughes, Tony (Nne) Ragland, and Jimmy (Larissa) Ragland, Joe (Barbara) Anthony; children via love, Letisha Davidson, Andrian Allen and Darrick Massey; grandchildren, Antre Davidson, Nevaeh Davidson, Khadance Davidson, Xavier Allen and Nathan Allen; great grandchildren, Legacy, Cash and Elianiah; several nieces and nephews, a host of relatives and friends.
