Kenneth Daniel Richardson Sr. passed away at home on May 6, 2025 surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his brother, William Donald Richardson, by his mother, Theada Vincent Richardson nee Boone, by his father, William Marlin Richardson, and by his brother, Douglas Marlin Richardson.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Victoria Richardson nee Covington, his two sons, Kenneth Daniel Richardson Jr. and Thomas Clinton Richardson as well as four grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. He is also survived by longtime dog, "Rascal."
He is a graduate of the Mary G. Montgomery High School Class of 1971. He is retired from the Mobile County Sheriff's Department in which he held the rank of Sergeant. While in service to Mobile County as Sheriff's Deputy, he was severely injured in the line of duty. Mr. Richardson was also a lifelong Alabama Crimson Tide Football fan.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 2pm. Visitation will be 1pm until service time Monday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
