Kenneth Paul Viera, 66, beloved husband of Lisa Anne Viera, passed away on May 27, 2025. Born on March 20, 1959, in Milford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Vincent and Joyce Viera and a lifelong resident of Milford.
Ken was a man of many talents and passions. He could build or repair nearly anything and was always ready to help. Whether working with his hands, riding his motorcycle, or solving tough problems, he approached everything with determination and care. He was always in motion, and it was in that constant motion that he found purpose. Driven by love and responsibility, he often made personal sacrifices to provide for his family.
One of Ken's proudest accomplishments was earning his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He trained for over seven years alongside his children and was the first in his Master's class to achieve that distinction. Their time spent training together created a deep bond built on shared discipline, mutual respect, and love. It remains one of their most treasured memories, along with family trips to Rhode Island and many holidays and events spent together.
In addition to his wife, Lisa, his high school sweetheart to whom he was married for over 40 years, Ken is survived by his children, Carissa N. (Paul) Kandilou and David J. Viera; his brother, Ronald; his sisters, Doreen, Linda, and Elayne; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) at https://donors.diabetes.org/page/FUNEGLCZUKJ
