Kenneth Winston Wrobel Jr. of Gloversville, NY passed away suddenly on July 25, 2024. Kenneth was a vibrant, hard working, dedicated father and husband who tragically lost his life at just 30 years old.
Born on December 22, 1993 in Gloversville, NY he was the son of Kenneth W. Wrobel Sr. and Edna Peeler Wrobel.
Kenneth was a 2012 graduate of Gloversville High School and then enlisted in the United States Army National Guard where he was then stationed out of the 42nd Infantry Division based out of Troy NY. Kenneth dutifully served in the Middle East with all of his fellow soldiers and was currently set for another deployment in May of 2025.
He married his wife Rebecca Beddow Wrobel, on July 2, 2017.
Mr. Wrobel worked as a diesel mechanic for Dirt Roads Antics in Duanesburg, NY. He loved the feeling of being able to take things apart and put them back together. Kenneth talked endlessly about how his current job felt like a home and how happy he was to be a part of their family.
In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his sons and spending time with his family. He spent countless hours drawing whatever came to mind and singing at the top of his lungs.
Kenneth had an obnoxiously infectious smile and a heart that changed anyone he came into contact with. He constantly left everyone with a smile on their face and impacted the lives of everyone he came into contact with.
Survivors including his wife Rebecca are his sons Christopher J. Wrobel and Weston R. Wrobel of Gloversville, NY, 5 brothers; Kyle Wrobel (Virginia) of Johnstown, NY, Albert, Travis and Thomas Wrobel all of Gloversville, NY, and his in-laws James and Katie Beddow.
Kenneth loved his family in an indescribable way. He moved mountains to make sure his wife and children were always taken care of, he always put everyone before himself and his love and dedication will forever be in our hearts.
Family and friends may visit the Tunison Funeral Home at 105 Lake Ave Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 on Wednesday July 31, 2024. Calling hours will be 2pm - 4pm for family and 4pm-7pm for friends and acquaintances.
Burial will be on Friday August 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, with military honors.
