Kerry Foht Obituary

Kerry A. Foht, 73, of Rockford, born May 15, 1950, in Rockford, the son of Erwin "Erv" E. and Janet "Jan" E. (Lawson) Foht. Kerry was the younger brother of Lawrence "Larry" Foht. Kerry's mother, father, and faithful dog, Baby welcomed him home to heaven on April 18, 2025. Kerry's last days were full of love, surrounded by his family and friends. His kind heart and infectious smile touched the lives of everyone around him.
Kerry had a deep love for the circus, a beloved tradition in Baraboo, Wisconsin. He spent many joyful hours talking to everyone about his experiences at the circus and planning for his next Baraboo adventure.
Kerry had a special bond with his older brother who was undoubtedly his life long companion and friend. Together they shared countless memories and spent many hours talking about the Circus, trains and apes.
A man of simple pleasures. Kerry had a few constants in his life that brought him immense joy. He adored the color blue and was adamant that he needed an apple pie in his home at all times! He was an avid fan of police shows, Burger King and coloring.
One of Kerry's most enduring qualities was that he never hesitated to tell you how he felt.
The ladies at Old Meadow held a special space in Kerry's heart. There companionship brought him comfort and happiness and he cherished the time with them. Kerry was cherished by everyone at the Goldie B. Floberg Center where was supported and loved for 36 years.
Survived by his brother, Larry; nephew, Jesse; grandniece, MaKenna; grandnephew, Roman; great-grandniece, Maddi; and many cousins. Preceded in death by his parents.
Rest in peace Kerry. You will forever be in our hearts.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Winnebago, IL. To share a memory or send condolences, please visitolsonfh.com .
