Jack Foht Obituary
He was born in Erie, on October 13, 1934 a son of the late Charles H. Foht and Mary Cronin Foht.
Jack graduated from Cathedral Prep High School in 1952 and Gannon University in 1957. He was a Captain in the Army and the founder and owner of Foht Realtors for many years.
He was past president of the Greater Erie Board of Realtors and the Apartment Association of Northwestern PA. He enjoyed wintering in Naples, Florida. Jack was an accomplished rifle shooter. He loved working in the woods with his chainsaw and watching sunsets on his golf cart. He enjoyed playing tennis, golf and gardening. Jack was a member of the Kahkwa Club, Lake Shore Country Club, and at the Westwood Racquet Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Frank Taylor.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Ann Foht; a daughter Natalie Latimer of Fairview (Patrick); a son Brian Foht of Fairview; a stepson William L. Rogers (Debbie) of Albion; a step-daughter Beth Ann Sheldon (Rick) of Lake City, PA. three sisters, Mary Jane Taylor of Erie; Virginia Strucker (Bill) of Delray, Florida; Bobbie Jo Foht of Dacula, GA; four brothers, Charles K. Foht of Fairview; Richard A. Foht (Nancy) of Cumming, Georgia, Howard B. Foht of Erie; eight grandchildren: Andrew M. Tompkins; Jack B. Foht; Emma J. Foht; Liam P. Latimer; Alicia Rogers; Hilary Rogers; Kristy Sheldon; and Kara Homer. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., West Ridge 3801 W. 26th. Street, Erie, PA 16506 on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 1 until the time of service at 3pm. Followed by full military honors.
Memorial may be made to Cathedral Preparatory School, 225 W. 9th ST. Erie PA 16501.
