Kerry Serven Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery - Scottsdale on Apr. 5, 2025.
Kerry Lynn Serven, 76, of Scottsdale Arizona, passed away March 13th 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandpa, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Kerry was born August 7th 1948 in Flint Michigan to Lynn M Serven and Alberta LaRiviere (Johnson). He grew up playing sports and eventually turned his love for fitness / sports into a career as manager at Davison Racquet Club. In 1992, he and Paula moved west to Arizona, where they both worked in real estate. Kerry also used his creative and artistic skills to expand into many design / remodeling projects.
He lived with zest and loved spending quality time with family and friends; outside in the desert, on the lake in Michigan, cruising around on his Harley or one of his cool cars, playing a hot game of euchre, watching Nascar, or just hanging out having a beer. On Saturdays in the fall, you would find him decked out in maize & blue officiating the game better than the announcers. He always gave his undivided attention and was genuinely interested in everything going on in our lives, especially anything to do with his grandkids. He had an easy going spirit, quiet sense of humor and a smile that put everyone at ease.
Kerry is survived by his wife, Paula Serven (Allen); sister, Debbie Chema; daughters, Stephanie Craddock and Justine Isaacson; son in-law, Randy Isaacson; grandchildren, Albi and Sarah Firman, Mallory Isaacson, Cole Isaacson; and great grandchildren, Malis Firman and Madilynn Firman as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will he held Saturday, April 19th at 11:00am at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary Chapel, 6500 E Bell Road Scottsdale, AZ 85254
The family is also planning a celebration of a life over the summer. Details to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Valley (hov.org) or The Michael J Fox Foundation (give.michaeljfox.org) would be greatly appreciated.
