Kevin F. Barradas Sr. of Whitman passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Kevin was born on March 14,1965 to Donald F. and Doris M. (Rounds) in Norwood/Foxborough MA.
Kevin worked for many years for the D.P.W. With Town Of Whitman. He was the foreman of the Park and Tree Department, and really enjoyed working outdoors.
Kevin also worked at J.B. Livery of Weymouth. He was one of their finest limousine drivers for many years.
Kevin was a very hard worker and loved spending time with his family. He always would have a huge smile wherever he went, and was willing to give a helping hand to all that needed him. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed being around friends and having backyard fires in the summer and especially going to Dairy Queen to make a perfect ending to the day. Kevin also had a sweet tooth and enjoyed his chocolate.
Beloved husband of Patricia A (Eddy) Barradas of Whitman.
Loving father of Kevin F Barradas Jr. and Ann Marie Barradas both of Whitman.
Brother of Donald F. Barradas Jr of Bellingham, Judy F. Barradas of E. Bridgewater, Michael F. Barradas and wife Linda of Attleboro, Shirley F. Meehan and husband Barry of Attleboro, Donmarie Barradas of New Hampshire, and the late Stephen F. Barradas and his surviving wife Elaine, of Attleboro. He is also survived by many close relatives and friends.
Kevin especially adored adopting retired greyhounds from which made him very happy. His was so filled with joy and are going to be deeply missed by Mugsey, Reggie, and Trevor.
Relatives and friends are respectfully to greet the family during visiting hours on Friday April 14, 2023 from 4-8 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street S Weymouth Ma (Rt 18 opposite South Shore Hospital).
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman MA at 10:30 AM.
Burial will follow in the Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree MA.
In lie of flowers memorial donations made be made to Greyhound Friends Inc Greyhound.org.
