Kevin Terrell Breedlove

Kevin Terrell Breedlove was born in Denton, TX on June 18, 1971. He is the only son shared by Zalia Johnson and James "Pete" Breedlove. He was raised in Denton. He attended Denton High School and eventually graduated from Lewisville High School. He was well known for his athleticism and excelled in football. As an adult, he worked in construction.
Kevin was full of life. He was a light to all he knew. He would give the shirt off his back and a helping hand in times of need. He never met a stranger and gained a friend everywhere he went. He loved singing, traveling, and watching movies. On a clear day, he could often be found beside a lake with a fishing pole in hand. One of his favorite ways to show his love was to invite family and friends over for big home cooked meals. There was never a crumb left behind when he made his famous Dorito casserole. His favorite scripture was Psalm 23 and one of his favorite songs was "Never Would Have Made It" by Marvin Sapp.
Kevin is preceded in passing by his mother, Zalia Johnson, and father, James "Pete" Breedlove. He is survived by his siblings – Sharon Roberson, Devorant Davis, Pamela Garner, Lynnette Garrett, and Donny Breedlove; children – Alyssia Smith, Damarius Lavender, and Jeremy Cheadle; grandchildren – Zahra Jackson, Nhial Mialou, Zechariah Foster, Vaugh Smith III, and Devon Amir Davis-Lavender; life partner Kristen Dacres; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
