Kevin Emmett Casey was born on December 26, 1965, in Worcester, MA. A man of ambition, humor, and love, he lived a vibrant life and became an icon of inspiration to those who were fortunate enough to know him. His laughter was contagious, and his spirit infectious.
Kevin was a proud graduate of Johnson & Wales, where he honed his skills in the hospitality industry. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to a successful 38-year career in the field, where he made his mark with his innovative ideas, and relentless dedication. Kevin was also an avid mentor sharing his wealth of knowledge with all. His love for his work was only surpassed by his love for his family, which was the cornerstone of his life. Despite his busy schedule, he always found time for some of his favorite hobbies, which included fishing, hunting, woodworking, and snowmobiling. A man of diverse interests, Kevin was also passionate about learning new languages, traveling, and meditation.
He was an Ashburnham, MA & Portland, ME, resident, previously living in Westminster and Mansfield, MA. His homes were always filled with laughter, love, and the aroma of his culinary experiments. He had a knack for bringing people together, creating an atmosphere of warmth. He was a loving father to his children, Jessica Zell & her husband Adam, James Casey & his wife Brooke, and Kevin Casey Jr., and a doting grandfather to Julian and Siena Zell. His siblings, Michael Casey, Kathleen Anderson, Maureen Gorman, and Patricia Casey, will remember him as a brother who was always there for them, ready with a smile or a joke to lighten their day.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claudette and James Casey.
The sudden absence of Kevin’s presence will leave a huge void in all the lives’ of those who loved him, he will be severely missed.
