A man whose life revolved around his Children, Grandchildren, and Sports. Kevin Clancy, 62, of Cleveland Ohio passed away on May 4th, 2025.
Kevin was born in Parma Ohio in 1963 to Dennis Clancy and Susan Clancy (Paulick). Beloved brother of Laura (Dave) and Tim. He spent most of his early years playing baseball, tennis and later lettered in track and field at Holy Name where he graduated in 1981. Shortly after graduating, Kevin started his career working for the City of Cleveland where he would remain until retirement.
Kevin is survived by his loving partner Kim, his 6 Children, Chris, Sean (Dawn), Meagan (Mike), Brandon (Desirae), Erin, and Andrew, and his 6 Grandchildren, Ella, Cordeliah, Levi, Peyton, Elijah, and Cybil, which he adored. He would take any chance he was given to talk about how proud he was of all his children, and how much he loved his grandchildren.
His love for sports was more than a typical fan; from memorabilia shows to sporting events, officiating football, calling balls & strikes. Most importantly, he spent years coaching 100's of kids throughout the city of Cleveland, teaching the fundamentals and the love of the game. During that time, he met a few great friends that were there until the bitter end.
In lieu of a traditional funeral, the family has decided to host a celebration of life, where we can honor this great man with food, great company, and a good game of wiffle ball. The potluck picnic style celebration will take place on June 21st, 2025 at TOCA Rocky River at 21220 Center Ridge Rd, Rocky River Ohio 44116. From 12 pm to 7 pm. Main dishes will be provided, however, please feel free to bring a dish or non alcoholic drink to share.
Like a "Swing and a Drive" his memory will soar high, leaving a lasting impact on the people that called him Coach, Friend, Dad, and Papa.
If any one has questions concerning the celebration, please contact Kevin's son Brandon via email [email protected]"
