Kevin M. Delaney

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Kevin Michael Delaney, who left us too soon on August 29, 2024, at the age of 40.
Kevin was a proud and devoted father to his dear son, Logan Gallagher. He was the cherished, youngest son of his loving mother Kathleen Keeler. Kevin was the goofy little brother to his three sisters, Emma Maynard, Lauren (Delaney) Figuenick, and Abigail Delaney, as well as his two brothers, Aaron Delaney and Timothy Delaney. "Uncle Kev" will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, Conor Fleming, Caleb Delaney, Mackenzie Maynard, Aidan Fleming, Reese Maynard, Isabella (Delaney) Maestas, Steven Serrano, Isabella Serrano, Matthew Francis Delaney, and his great-niece, Athena Maestas.
Kevin is remembered as "the smallest, biggest-hearted dude" on the football field coining the nickname "Twinkie" amongst his teammates. Kevin's friends will dearly miss his spirited personality and unmatched sense of humor.
Kevin was an avid fan of New England sports, always cheering for his favorite teams with passion and enthusiasm. His love for the game was matched only by his love for his family and friends. Kevin had a generous spirit, a sharp wit, and a heart full of kindness. He brought laughter, joy, and warmth into the lives of everyone who knew him.
His mother would like to thank God for the wonderful years He has given his friends and family as the most loving and unselfish person.
Kevin's memory will be carried in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. His family invites friends and loved ones to a celebration of his life at John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center Street in Manchester on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 4 – 7 p.m. A funeral home service will be held on Saturday, September 14, at 11:00 a.m.
