Kevin enjoyed sports of all kinds, but had a particular love for playing and watching hockey. Having a passion for all things numbers, Kevin loved his work in finance, as much as he loved solving math problems on the fly or using his skills to strategize in poker.
As someone who cared deeply for helping others, especially people with disabilities, Kevin was a dedicated volunteer for The Muscular Dystrophy Association summer camp at Camp Cavell every year. Whether Kevin was working, volunteering, or hanging out with friends and family, he could be found trying to brighten other people's days through a new silly costume, some games, or some jokes.
Those closest to him will remember Kevin's unique sense of humor and his love for movies, music, tacos, and margaritas. But it was in being a dad that Kevin found his greatest joy in life.
Visitation Thursday, October 6 from 3-9pm. Funeral Friday, October 7 at 10:30am at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile), Sterling Heights. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to The Muscular Dystrophy Association (www.mda.org) are appreciated.

I'm so sorry to hear of the recent passing of my friend Kevin Dimock. Over the years, we stayed connected a bit over instagram and Facebook, but I haven't seen him in person in probably 13-15 years.
He and I (along with my brother Bob and many other great friends) worked together at Star Theaters close to 10 years. It was always a fun time working with Kevin. I can't remember one shift we worked together that we weren't laughing at something.
We celebrated many weddings together, went to Vegas a few times with a group of friends, Cedar Point trips, New Year's Eve parties, and of course, the cereal nights Bob and I would host after a long shift at the theater.
There was a time in my life where I considered Kevin a third brother (my dad to this day, still will call him "K-Dogg" as that is how he introduced himself to my parents when he met them).
Like I said, Kevin and I stayed somewhat connected over social media. He definitely loved being a dad.
RIP Kevin, fond memories of you will live on

I knew Kevin on a professional level at his most current position. He was the consummate professional, hard working and good at his job. I will miss him on both a professional and personal level. He didn´t talk a lot about his personal life but one thing was clear, he loved his family. My sincerest sympathies to his family and friends.
