Kevin Done Obituary

Visit the Nelson Family Mortuary website to view the full obituary.
Kevin was raised lovingly by his father Robert, from Provo, Utah, and his mother Jonna, from Denmark.
Mostly raised in Seal Beach, California, Kevin's childhood and youth was spent, in large part, on outdoor activities and sports activities, including wrestling, weight lifting, cycling, skateboarding, surfing, spearfishing, hiking, camping and skiing. He also developed an affinity for certain sporty cars.
Kevin left all of this for two years, to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in the Cali Colombia Mission.
Upon returning, he went to college studying business, including at BYU. At that time, while attending a Latin dance in Provo, his sister Linda prompted him to dance with a lovely Chilean girl named Julieta Arce, who would later become his wife.
Not long after they met, Kevin began a 30-plus year career at the Stouffer's/Nestle factory in nearby Springville, where he was a dedicated employee.
In front of the factory, as he was just about to start his bike ride home, he was tragically struck and killed by a errant car.
Kevin leaves behind his very faithful and beloved wife Julieta, two older brothers Rob and David, a younger sister Linda, and pets, including a protective border collie.
We have a hope in a merciful Jesus Christ, even with all of our own issues, that life continues after this life. As Elder Dieter Uchdorf said some years ago, "Embrace and rely upon the Hope of Israel, for the love of the Son of God pierces all darkness, softens all sorrow, and gladdens every heart."
In lieu of your buying/sending flowers, we believe that Kevin's preference would have been a donation to www.utahhumane.org or the charity of your choice.
