Kevin was a 1981 graduate of Marinette High School. He and Linda Block were married on May 12, 1984. He was employed at KSU for many years until his disability. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Green Bay Packers
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; two daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie (Ken) Derouin, Menominee and Jessica (Kevin Rash) Schmidtka, Oconto Falls; four grandchildren, Hannah Cournoyer (Dylan), Jaydon Williamson, Chloe Rupiper and Kaiser Schmidtka; five sisters, Margaret Randall, Manitowoc, Jane Robenhorst, Pound, Katherine Johnson, West Allis, Carol (Pat) Schomaker, Middle Inlet and Judy Badalamenti, Marinette; one brother, Kenneth (Renee), Marinette, his nieces and nephews along with a very good friend, Cory Haberland. He will also be very missed by his dogs, Brutus, Gabe and Nala. He was preceded in death by his son Justin, his parents and Linda's parents, his sister, Janet Queever and brother, Bernard, Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, July 5 at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 11:00am Friday until the time of the service. Rev. Nathan Reed will officiate. Burial will take place in Forest Home Cemetery on Monday, July 8, 2024. A memorial fund will be established in Kevin's name.
