A Gentle Soul with a Brilliant Mind
Kevin Healy, a beloved nephew, friend, uncle and proud native of Naperville, IL, passed away on May 15th, 2025, in Roseville, MI at the age of 42. He was born on October 12th, 1982, in Winfield, IL.
Kevin was the beloved son of the late John and Anna (nee McGee) Healy and is preceded in death by his dear sister, Katie Healy. He is survived by many friends and extended family who will forever cherish his memory and the profound impact he had on their lives.
Kevin's life was marked by extraordinary intellect, quiet strength, and a deeply generous heart that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
A passionate learner with an incredible drive for excellence, Kevin earned three master's degrees from Northern Illinois University in MS in Accounting, MST, and MBA. He brought a rare blend of brilliance and humility to both his professional and personal life, using his knowledge not to impress, but to uplift.
He was also a devoted music lover, with an eclectic taste that spanned genres and generations. Whether curating playlists for friends, or simply listening in quiet reflection, music brought him deep joy and comfort. It was one of the many ways he connected with the world and the people he loved.
He had a gift for making others feel seen, valued, and supported. His kindness was quiet but unwavering, expressed in small daily acts of thoughtfulness, deep loyalty, and a warm, steady presence that comforted those around him.
To those who loved him, Kevin was more than accomplished, profoundly good, deeply human, and irreplaceable.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM with A Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral home & Cremation Services 44 S. Mill St. Naperville, IL 60540. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kevin's memory to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) https://donate.NAMI.org/fundraiser/6398623.
Interment will be private.
Kevin's memory will live on in every life he brightened, every act of kindness he inspired, and in the quiet strength he shared so generously.

I am devastated to hear of Kevin´s passing. He was a wonderful person. He made me laugh until my stomach hurt in high school. Algebra was more tolerable with him in my class. We reconnected years later, and he was the same wonderful human he´d always been.
