Kevin Joyce of Weymouth, originally from North Quincy, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the age of 65. Kevin was born to the late Francis and Frances (Kelly) Joyce and raised in North Quincy and North Weymouth. He attended Sacred Heart School in North Quincy and graduated from Weymouth North High School. Kevin worked in the restaurant business for many years and cherished the friendships he made and the wonderful people he met. He worked for Local 26 at the University of Massachusetts Boston, retiring in 2020 after twenty years of service.

Kevin enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sharing his profound love for music and playing the drums. A lover of comedy, Kevin shared his good sense of humor wherever he went. Kevin was also an avid Boston sports fan. He enjoyed all of the area sports, particularly the New England Patriots.

Loving brother of Karen Penzo and husband Frank of Weymouth, Mary Joyce Waite and husband Arthur of Dedham, Maureen Barrett and husband John of Weymouth, Christine Joyce of Weymouth, and nephew of Ann Marie Joyce of Braintree. Kevin will be sorely missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In keeping with Kevin's spirit, cherish every moment and enjoy every song. Services will be held privately. Donations in memory of Kevin may be made to the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 200 Ivy St, Brookline, MA 02446.
