It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin R. Katko, who left us peacefully on September 8, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on March 4, 1963, in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, Kevin was a cherished member of his community and a beloved husband, father, and friend.

Kevin grew up in West Mifflin, where he proudly earned his high school diploma. He was also a graduate of Triangle Tech. He spent much of his life as a mechanic in the construction industry, where his skills and dedication earned him respect from coworkers and clients alike. He was known for his hardworking spirit and his ability to tackle any challenge with a smile. Outside of work, Kevin was a Pittsburgh Steeler fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and loved going to the beach with his grandchildren. Kevin was also a pet lover, leaving behind his loyal dog, "Jasper."

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Pamala (Shumpert) Katko; father, Robert Katko; sons, Mark Hoover of North Charleroi and Brandon Cousar of McKeesport; grandchildren, Mark III, Sa'Vaughn, Ay'Mori, La'Donn, Ca'Meron; sister, Karen (Charles) Norgren; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family. His warm presence, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Kevin was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Jane (Seidling) Katko.

Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, September, 12, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from Noon until the time of service at 1 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
