Kevin J. McKlveen, 63 of Connellsville died Saturday October 21, 2023 in Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born March 18, 1960 in Connellsville a son of the late Ronald G., Sr. and Antonetta J. "Nettie" Merendino McKlveen. Kevin was a 1978 graduate of Geibel High School. Along with his wife, Theresa Kerns, they were the owners and operators of the Arch Cafe in Connellsville for many years. Kevin his survived by his wife, Theresa Marr Kerns; his children, David Kerns and Linda of Connellsville, Dennis Kerns and his wife Kimberly of Connellsville and Deanne Schroyer and her husband Scott of Connellsville; grandchildren, Katie Prolenski and her husband Jared, Daniel Kerns, Jonathan Schroyer, Joshua Schroyer and his wife Nicole and Joseph Schroyer; great grandchildren, Gabriella Prolenski and Alexandra Schroyer; his siblings, Ron McKlveen and his wife Sheila of Uniontown, Mark McKlveen and his wife Amy of Scottdale and Beth Ann Ambrosini and her husband Pete of Connellsville; his former sister-in-law, Judy McKlveen of Connellsville; several nieces and nephews and their families and his pet dog and best friend, Mason. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Frank A. McKlveen and a grandson, Jason E. "Pudge" Schroyer. Family and friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M until 6:00 P.M., the hour of funeral services with Pastor Mark Scott officiating. Private interment will be in St. Rita's Cemetery.
