Kevin Allen McLean, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on the Fourth of July in 1971, in Trenton, Michigan, Kevin's life was a vibrant celebration of independence, joy, and the love of those around him. Kevin is survived by his mother Rose McLean. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, who, together with Rose, instilled in him the values of hard work and kindness that he carried throughout his life. Kevin shared a close and loving bond with his brother, Mike. Though life's paths meant they did not see each other as often as they would have liked, their relationship was marked by mutual respect, warmth and a lasting brotherly love.

Kevin's professional journey was a testament to his dedication and work ethic. For 33 years, he was a valued employee at Plastic Pak Incorporated, where he began his career fresh out of school and, through perseverance and a natural knack for leadership, worked his way up to management. His colleagues at Plastic Pak became a second family to him, and he took great pride in his work and the lasting friendships he made there.

Beyond his professional life, Kevin was known for his boundless enthusiasm for life's simple pleasures. An avid bowler, he could often be found at the local lanes, rolling strikes and sharing laughs with his team. His passion for hunting was matched only by his love for Michigan Football, and he was a true fanatic, never missing a game and always ready to cheer on his team with fervor.

Kevin's heart held a special place for his canine companions, Cocoa and Chloe, who were a source of joy and comfort to him. He was a dog lover through and through, and his gentle nature and generous spirit were evident in the way he cared for his beloved pets.

Those who knew Kevin would describe him as selfless, generous, and kind. He had a knack for making everyone around him feel valued and important, and his presence was a warm and comforting light in the lives of many. His brother, Michael McLean, and his aunts and uncles, Theresa Beaumont, Richard Capra, Mary Forest, Sandy Aquilina, Linda (Clifford) McLean, and Mark McLean, will remember Kevin as a pillar of strength and love in their family.

Kevin's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness, dedication, and genuine warmth will continue to inspire and guide us. As we say farewell to Kevin Allen McLean, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of love, laughter, and the unwavering support of family and friends. He will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will be cherished forever.
