Kevin Palmieri Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 13, 2025.
Southington - Southington, CT

"Loving husband, father, son & brother"

Kevin M. Palmieri, 55, of Southington, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Gina (Gelbogis) Palmieri for 25 years.

Kevin Palmieri was born on November 9, 1970, in New Britain, Connecticut, to Elizabeth (Traceski) Palmieri and the late Michael A. Palmieri. He graduated from Southington High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Syracuse University. Kevin built a successful career as a financial planner with LPL Financial and was an active member of Integrated Financial Planners.

Beyond his professional life, Kevin was deeply involved in his community and passionate about athletics. A guiding force in the Southington sports scene, he generously coached a variety of youth teams over the years, leaving a lasting impact on countless young athletes. An avid golfer, he cherished an annual tradition of spending a week on the golf course with his lifelong friends. He also devoted many hours to coaching his daughter Adriana in tennis during her younger years, and later, proudly attended her college matches whenever possible-always cheering her on with unwavering love and pride.

Kevin is survived by his devoted wife, Gina of Southington, his cherished daughter, Adriana Palmieri of Southington, his loving mother, Elizabeth of Old Saybrook. He also leaves behind his sister, Kacy Palmieri of California, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who will forever honor his memory.

A true animal lover, Kevin shared his home and heart with four beloved cats-Hoola, Tiger, Maui, and Mavi. Mavi, his constant and faithful companion throughout his illness, remained by his side, offering comfort and unconditional love until the very end.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Kevin's memory to: ASPCA or charity of one's choice.

Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial for Kevin will be celebrated on Tuesday, November, 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main St., Waterbury, CT. All are asked to kindly meet directly at the church. Calling hours will be held on Monday evening from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT.
