Kevin T. Regan Sr., 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Aloie Regan and his wife Cindy Regan. He is survived by his children: Shannon (Scott) Campbell, Kevin Regan Jr, Kaitlin Regan, Jennifer Regan, and Hannah Regan; stepdaughter Jennifer Johnson (husband Jerry) Diana Miller (husband Josh Miller; Step grandchildren: Brooke Der, Karlie Der, Morgan Johnson and Emily Johnson
; grandchildren: Carson Campbell, Piper Campbell, Will Campbell, Lane Regan and Paityn Regan; brother: Tim (Brenda) Regan; sister: Maureen (Marshall) Rice; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his loving companion Marie Pronzato. Kevin graduated from State University of New York in Delhi in 1975. He had a 30-year career in the hotel industry including Marriott, Stormont -Trice, Starwood and Windham hotels & resorts worldwide. He held titles such as General Manager, Area Managing Director, Vice President of Six Sigma, Senior Vice President of Operations, Executive Vice President, and President.
He was one of the first involved during the crisis after hurricane Katrina and was invited to the US Senate to speck regarding how they could improve hurricane crisis operations in the Southern States.
A celebration of his life will be held on July 9th, 2023 from 4-6 pm at Dahlonega Funeral Home. Kevin was an avid hunter to honor him the family asks for donations to be made to the annual youth day event that Sheriff Stacy Jarrard and others take community kids hunting. Donations may be sent to:
