Kevin J. Reilly of Weymouth passed away after a long battle with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) on June 16, 2024, just shy of his 60th birthday. He was born on June 22, 1964, in Boston to John Reilly of Weymouth, and the late Elizabeth Reilly.

Kevin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bridgewater State College and was a Certified Public Accountant. Kevin worked for many years as a CPA and then most recently as a CFO in the non-profit sector. Additionally, he proudly served in the Massachusetts National Guard and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after 23 years.

Music was Kevin’s passion. His love for music lead him to start his own band, Bald Walter. The band played in venues in Boston and all over the South Shore for over 20 years. Kevin was an avid sports fan who loved the Boston Celtics and was a season ticket holder for his beloved Boston Bruins for many years.

Beloved husband of 29 years to Maureen V. (Murray) Reilly. Loving father of Brendan, Hannah and Christopher Reilly all of Weymouth. Dear brother of Annemarie Gable and her husband Eric of Weymouth, Michael Reilly and his wife Debbie of Braintree, Maureen Connolly and her husband Doug of Weymouth, Patricia Rielly and Steve Malley of Hingham, and Kathleen Ford and her husband John of Wrentham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:45 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare Parish, Braintree at 10AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
