Kim Charles, 60, of Red Lake Falls, Minnesota died on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo, North Dakota.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Westby Cemetery near Clearbrook, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
Kimberly was born on October 11, 1963 to Mayhlon and Beverly (Buness) Charles in Bagley, Minnesota. She graduated from Clearbrook High School in May of 1981 and went on to graduate from Cosmetology School in 1983. Over the years she resided in Warroad, Roseau, and for the last several years, Red Lake Falls, MN.
She married Rick Battles on June 17, 2007 at Seljord Lutheran Church in Clearbrook, MN.
Kimberly loved drawing and painting as well as going to car shows or auction sales. She was an avid Avon Collector and quite the hunter. She loved her family dearly and will be tremendously missed.
Kimberly is survived by her husband, Rick Battles; their children, Cerena Brazier, Bryton Charles, Cheyenne (Jesse) Llanez, Jeff Battles (Vanessa), and Dennis (Melinda) Battles; her grandchildren, Oakley Llanez, Adrianna Jangula, Kaydence Gislason, Rylee Whitaker, Dominik Whitaker, Eli Whitaker, Marissa Battles, Vivian Battles, and Anthony Battles; her siblings, Mitchell (Rhonda) Charles, Cheryl Olson, Chris (Shirley) Charles, Sue Charles (Randy Olson), Brian (Barb) Charles, Scott Charles, and Merry Charles (Larry Mathison); and many other loved family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mayhlon and Beverly Charles; her brother, Shawn Charles; and numerous aunts and uncles.
