Kim Lauren Ronnie Lopez, a beloved mother and sister, passed away on June 3, 2024. Kim touched the hearts of all who knew her. Kim was born at Jersey Shore Hospital in Neptune, NJ on May 13, 1958 to Beverly and Glenn Ronnie. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Ashley, Chelsea, Taylor; husband Joseph; brothers, Shawn and Darrel; sister Renee. Kim is predeceased by her beloved brother Glenn "Chip" Ronnie and sister Missy Maloney.
After attending Middletown Township High School she was signed by the Wilhelmina Model Agency in NYC. She had a very successful modeling career in Japan, London and the USA. Her beauty and strength inside and out was one of a kind with a heart of gold. After the tragic loss of her sister Missy, Kim alongside her family helped found the Missy Maloney Children's Fund; a non profit charity helping seriously ill children for over 30 years. Her dedication helped many children and families in need. After marrying her husband Joseph Lopez they went on to run a successful clothing company named Senor Lopez. A loving wife and devoted mother to Ashley, Chelsea and Taylor were Kim's pride and joy. She always said her daughter's births changed her life for the better, and she "loves them to the moon and back; forever and always." They can affirm that in her every step and word that she navigated being a mother with unmatchable love and support. Kim loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Every single person that crossed her path can tell that she was the most devoted, loving and selfless person, while purely and honestly remaining who she was, laughing, smiling and never at a loss for words. Her legacy is one of honesty, kindness and love for she dedicated her life to caring for others and always putting the needs of her family and friends before her own. Kim would want her beloved family and friends to know how much she loved and appreciated them.
She requested that we have a celebration of her life in lieu of flowers, donation and memorial.
Friends and family please join us to celebrate and honor Kim's life. This will take place on June 15th @ 4pm, at the Maloney Residence, 3230 Ridgewood Rd. Allenwood, NJ 08720

I met Kim and her girlfriends many, many years ago. We were all in our late teens, early twenties. We were all in the clubs and had many good memories dancing to bands, djs. So many good memories - R.I.P. my friend.
