Kimberlee Mae Clapper, 57, of Stroud Township, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital - Monroe Campus in Bartonsville.
Born on November 23, 1966 in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of Charlotte L. (Halterman) Clapper of Stroud Township and the late Charles F. Clapper. Kim was a lifetime resident of Monroe County, graduated from Stroudsburg High School in 1985 and attended East Stroudsburg University and Allentown Business School.
In earlier years she worked at Kinsley's Market on Main Street in Stroudsburg and Delaware River Toll Bridge, and then at the One Stop/Square One Convenience Store on North Fifth Street in Stroud Township. Most recently she was a cashier at BJ's.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Stroud Township and BPO Elks Lodge #319 in East Stroudsburg.
Kim was a great friend to countless people and was a passionate supporter of animal rescues. She loved to travel and go on adventures with her many friends and her family.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother, David Clapper.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 8th, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg with visitation beginning at 2:00PM followed by services at 3:00PM. The BPO Elks Lodge will perform their memorial service and the religious service will be officiated by Rev. Jack Tironi. Burial will take place at a later date in Stroudsburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, 1160 Clause Drive, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 or AWSOM (Animal Welfare Society of Monroe), P.O. Box 13, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
