Kimberly "Kim" Ann Keeton, age 40, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, after battling a brief illness in Muskegon, MI. She was born March 22, 1984, to Steven and Dawn (Brewer) Haynes in Muskegon, MI. She attended Oakridge High School and graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. On August 15, 2015, she married Darren Keeton. She enjoyed her time as a school nurse for East Kentwood Schools and most recently worked at the Fred & Lena Meijer Heart Center.
Kim had a way to lighten up the room with her smile and laugh. She was a strong, hardworking, and dedicated person, who was also unselfish in her ways. Kim was an avid runner and was a member of the Muskegon Running Club. She enjoyed traveling and seeing the world, making jewelry and spending time on the water kayaking, and wasn't afraid of jumping out of a plane, scuba diving, riding motorcycles or traveling by camel to explore pyramids. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to all.
Kim will be dearly missed by her husband, Darren; children, Brennan Bundt, Chase Bundt and Vanessa Keeton; brothers, Mike (Anna Droz) Haynes and David (Diane Wiest) Haynes. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Brian Haynes.
VISITATION with the family will take place from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444).
