Mrs. Kimberly Lorraine Fountain Fortner, age 43, passed away at Savannah Hospice on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. Mrs. Fortner was born in Savannah to James Randall Fountain and Linda Joyce Deal Fountain on April 26, 1980. She was a graduate of Bryan County High School and received her LPN from Ogeechee Technical College and was employed with Browns Health and Rehab. Mrs. Fortner enjoyed spending time with her children, especially while they where fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Randall Fountain and Linda Joyce Deal Fountain and maternal grandparents, Edward Deal and Gladys Deal.
Survivors include her husband, Craig C. Fortner; son, Kelan Lee of Pembroke; daughter, Makayla Lee of Pembroke; two brothers, Kevin Fountain of Pembroke and Mitchell Marsh of NC; sister, Terri Rainey of Blitchton; two paternal aunts, Lynn Ryan and her husband Chris and Angie Fountain; two paternal uncles, Brian Fountain and David Fountain and his wife Gail and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kenny Harrelson officiating.
Burial will be held at Northside Cemetery.
