Kimberly Ann McGowan, 41, of West Harrison, Indiana, passed away on August 6, 2025.

Born on September 13, 1983, Kim was the beloved daughter of Frauke Andrea Lind-Fenske (Mother) and Steve (Marsha) McGowan (Father). She was the devoted wife of the late Kenneth Adam Geisen, with whom she shared 17 years of marriage before his passing three years ago.

For over two decades, Kim poured her heart into caring for children at Tree House Childcare in Harrison, Ohio. Her work there was more than a job-it was a calling. She found joy and fulfillment in helping little ones learn and grow, touching countless young lives with her kindness, patience, and love.

Kim was known for her artistic spirit, quick wit, and the effortless grace she carried-"simply elegant," as those close to her would say. She loved music in many styles, found inspiration in cooking shows, and could often be found working on creative projects. She was also practical and independent, never afraid to tackle a car repair herself.

Above all, Kim loved her family deeply. She was a proud and devoted mother to her children-Madison (Brayden Hartman) Geisen, Mason Geisen, Elijah Geisen, Kameron Geisen, Kaleb Geisen, and Joey Geisen-and a loving sister to Alex (Asha) McGowen. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent together, especially hosting family gatherings where she made everyone feel welcomed and special.

Though life brought her challenges-especially after Kenny's passing-Kim's love for her children and her determination to care for them remained steadfast. Her humor, creativity, and ability to bring people together will be remembered always.

Kim is survived by her parents, children, brother, and many extended family members and friends whose lives are better because they knew her.

The family will share details of a service to honor Kim's life at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PAWs of Dearborn County, an organization close to her heart.

Her life was a beautiful blend of strength and tenderness, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will carry on in the hearts of her family forever.
