Patricia J. McGowan, 89, of Medway, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center of Natick.
Born in Milford on April 29, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy (Zajac) McGowan.
A lifelong resident of Medway, Patricia graduated from Medway High School in 1954 and went on to attend Framingham State University. She worked for 18 years at Precision Metallurgical before retiring.
Patricia enjoyed playing cards and loved spending time with her family. She was also devoted to her faith and served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph's Parish in Medway, bringing Holy Communion to the homebound.
She is survived by her daughter, Madonna Terlizzi, and her husband Joseph of Uxbridge; two sons, John Marcone of Medway and Thomas Marcone and his wife Cheryl of Bellingham; and five grandchildren: Anthony Terlizzi and his wife Kara, Nick Terlizzi and his wife Hannah, Samantha Marcone, Tiffany Cote and her husband Matt, and Lynsey Gosselin and her husband Joe.
She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, Rocco, Valentina, Camila, Vienna, Tommy, Lucy, Aaron, Noelle, Zachary, and Juliette and her brother Thomas McGowan of Medway, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Fran Hendrickson, and was formerly married to the late Robert J. Marcone.
Graveside services will take place privately at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Patricia's memory to the charitable organization of your choice.
