Kirk Berg Obituary
January 22, 1954 - October 22, 2025
Kirk Dean Berg was born in Stanley, ND in 1954 to Kenneth and Doris Berg. He was raised primarily in Shelby, MT and attended Montana State University where he met and married Kim Chandler. He graduated with a degree in civil engineering, which brought them to Ephrata, WA where he started his career with the Washington State Department of Transportation. They welcomed 3 children, Rebecca, Sarah and Steven to raise in the home they built in Wenatchee. He ended his career as the assistant regional administrator in engineering and maintenance for the North Central Region of WSDOT.
Kirk is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Kim, daughters Becky Young (Andy) and Sarah Boddington (Caleb), son Steven Berg, and grandson Nathan Young. He was so loved and will be dearly missed.
A Funeral Service will take place at 10am, Friday, October 31st at Chapel of the Valley, 378 Eastmont Ave., East Wenatchee.
