Kory Robert James Weaver, lovingly known as "Crazy Kory", was found to have passed away on March 26th 2026, at the age of 57. He would have celebrated his 58th birthday just one month later.
Kory was a resident of Ogden, Utah, for the majority of his life. This is where he built a life defined by hard work, creativity, and deep connections with those around him. He was born to Larry James Weaver and Barbara Marie Ownes and was preceded in death by his siblings Todd Weaver and Maryann Weaver.
He is survived by his sister Shauna Ray and half-brother Troy Howe. Kory was a proud father to his daughter, Dainta Cash, who is expecting his first grandchild—a joy he eagerly looked forward to. He also embraced his role as a father to his stepchildren, Joshua Kerr, Crystal Peaslee, Bradley Kerr, and Kyle Dodgen, loving them as his own. He cherished his two step-grandchildren and the time he spent with them.
Kory was a skilled and dedicated professional who spent much of his career working in HVAC, a trade he took great pride in. He was also an entrepreneur, owning multiple businesses throughout his life. Among his many talents, Kory was an accomplished tattoo artist, known for his creativity and the passion he brought to his work.
Those who knew Kory will remember him as a kid at heart. He had a playful spirit and was always ready with a practical joke to make others laugh. His generosity knew no bounds—he was the kind of person who would give to anyone in need, whether friend or stranger. With his approachable nature and friendly personality, Kory made lasting impressions on everyone he met.
Kory’s legacy is one of laughter, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd.
